Since 2009 Spur residents have been looking for a solution to repair its historic swimming pool in Swenson Park. Last month a community-wide fundraiser was held for the pool, with many volunteers involved and many visitors coming to enjoy a wide range of activities. The Texas Spur interviewed city secretary Laura Adams to get more information about the challenges related to the pool repair itself. 

What exactly is wrong with the swimming pool?
There are underlying leaks in the plumbing, and just deterioration of the structure itself that causes huge amounts of water loss.
