Youngsters celebrated Halloween early in Spur (shown) and Dickens on Saturday evening with Trunk or Treat. Jayton's Trunk or Treat is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 30 at the Church of Christ church with hot dogs to follow at the Jayton Baptist Church. COMING SOON IN DICKENS Gas pumps were being installed, interior was being remodeled, and this custom sign was being completed at the convenience store location at the corner of US 82 and TX 70 in Dickens under renovation by the Boyd family. Brandon Boyd said that the pumps will be in operation soon, and other product offerings are coming together.
