Dear Kay Ellington, I apologize for missing my participation in the Texas Spur/Chamber of Commerce Meet the Candidates forum held onThursday the 15th of February, as I was subpoenaed to testify in a hearing at the Lubbock County courthouse, which was also held on the 15th of February.
I was disappointed that I did not have the opportunity to address the Issues that matter to the citizens of Dickens County in person I do want the citizens to know that I have proven my dedication and experience to the county by Serving with Dickens County EMS for 41 years and serving as the Chief of Police in Spur for over 24 years and serving as the Dickens County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy and Jail Administrator for the last 14 years, gaining my knowledge and experience. I do possess a Master Peace Officer and Jailer Certification throughTheTexas Commission on Law Enforcement and my EMT basic through the Texas Department of Health.
