Dickens County 4-H held their officers’ training on July 16.
The officers learned about different leadership styles and the importance of teamwork and communication through a series of exercises, such as trying to raise a tennis ball with only four strings and a washer, or putting together a Lego structure following instructions written by their partner.
They then worked on parliamentary procedure and making agendas. Calendars were brought out and many plans for activities, contests and events were scheduled.
In attendance were Diezel Ramirez, club president; Paisley Smith, 1st vice president; CalvinHays Chapman, junior president; and Henry Chapman, reporter.
