In regular meeting of the Patton Springs Independent School District board of trustees meeting on May 27, 2025, Interim Superintendent Bryan White discussed enrollment and attendance, student and employee awards and honors, end of year activities, maintenance projects, safety, security and vehicles, preliminary values and budget information. April tax reports and financial statements were reviewed.
Clayt Bridge made the motion and Ernest Ramirez made the second to approve the 2025-2026 School Calendar as presented. The school day will begin at 7:30 a.m., the board determined. The motion passed.
Shane Roberts made the motion and Ronda Dalton made the motion to approve the District of Innovation item-Depository Bid Renewal Extension. The motion passed.
Following a closed meeting, Ernest Ramirez made the motion and Shane Roberts made the second to hire Addie Roden, probationary contract, subject to assignment. Motion passed.
Clayt Bridge made the motion and Ronda Dalton made the second to hire Candace Zarate, probationary contract, subject to assignment. The motion passed.
The meeting ended with Clayt Bridge moving to adjourn and Ernest Ramirez seconding. The motion passed.
Attending the meeting were board members Gary Bridge, Clayt Bridge, Ronda Dalton, Shane Roberts and Ernest Ramirez. Also attending were Interim Superintendent Bryan White, Principal Sandra Ramirez and Business Manager Becky Hodges. Board member Lana Burson was absent. There were two guests: Amanda Taylor and Amethyst Pemberton.
