COMPILED FROM MINUTES
In the regular monthly meeting of the Patton Springs Independent School District board of trustees on March 18, interim superintendent Sandra Ramirez presented and discussed enrollment and attendance, student and employee awards and honors, maintenance projects, safety, security, vehicles and housing. Becky Hodges provided the quarterly investment report, current Summary of Finance estimates and status of insurance claims.
In other action, following a closed session, Ernest Ramirez made the motion and Clayt Bridge made the second to approve the agreement and to hire recently retired superintendent Bryan White as interim superintendent. The motion passed.
Upon the recommendation by Sandra Ramirez, Clayt Bridge made the motion and David Keith made the second to approve probationary contract renewals for Jennifer Conner, Amethyst Pemberton, Andria Salas, Juan Salas, Jr., and Shaundale Schaffner. The motion passed.
Ronda Dalton made the motion and Clayt Bridge made the second upon recommendation by Sandra Ramirez to approve term contract renewals for Cathy Davis, Sonya Dziedzic, Amber Lemoine, Cathern Turner and Deborah White, Jordan Williamson and Cassie Valerio.
The motion passed.
Lana Burson made the motion and Ernest Ramirez made the second to approve the updated stipend list as presented. The motion passed.
Lana Burson made the motion and Ernest Ramirez made the second to approve the agreement to hire Bolinger, Segars, Gilbert & Moss, L.L. P. to conduct the August 31, 2024 financial audit. The motion passed.
Attending the meeting were board members Gary Bridge, Clayt Bridge, Lana Burson, Ronda Dalton, David Keith and Ernest Ramirez. Board Member Shane Roberts was absent. Also attending were Interim Superintendent/ Principal Sandra Ramirez and Business Manager Becky Hodges.
