In the regular monthly meeting of the Patton Springs Independent School District board of trustees on May 6, Interim Superintendent Bryan White presented current enrollment and attendance, end of year activities and awards. White also discussed 2024 preliminary values and an update on the portable building.
In other action Clayt Bridge made the motion to approve the PK Partnership MOU. Ernest Ramirez made the second. The motion passed.
Next, Ronda Dalton made the motion to approve the 2024-25 School Calendar. David Keith made the second. The motion passed.
Following a closed session, Ernest Ramirez made the motion to hire Addie Roden as teacher, probationary contract, subject to assignment. Clayt Bridge made the second, and the motion passed. During the closed session the board reviewed superintendent applications. No action was taken.
White presented the resignation for teacher Amber Lemoine.
Attending the meeting were board members Gary Bridge, Clayt Bridge, David Keith, Ronda Dalton, Shane Roberts and Ernest Ramirez. Board member Lana Burson was absent. Also attending were Interim Superintendent Bryan White and Principal Sandra Ramirez.
