A new regular column will appear in The Texas Spur beginning Thursday, Aug. 12.
“Check Your Mirrors,” by Sue Jane Sullivan, currently publishes in three other West Texas weekly newspapers and The Texas Spur will mark its fourth venue.
The title pays homage to years in which the columnist was a driver’s education instructor for high school students, as well as an English faculty member, at a nearby small 1A school.
Sullivan’s columns capture modern, rural West Texas life and touch upon the range of issues that we all face—family, faith, life, death, divorce, health, wanderlust, aging and more.
She’ll start your Thursday with a smile as her stories “mirror” experiences we’ve all had.
