Last-minute vendors still have a chance to get on the map for the annual US Route 62/82 Yard Sales, held this Saturday, June 10. The cost for those wishing to be listed on the maps is $10 for individuals and $25 for businesses.
Those wishing to list their yard sale on the map should contact city offices in their area: Idalou – City of Idalou, (806) 892-2531, Lorenzo – City of Lorenzo, (806) 634-5596, Ralls – City of Ralls, (806) 253-2558, and Crosbyton – City of Crosbyton, (806) 675-2301.
Five communities east of Lubbock on Highway 62/82 have joined together for Truckin’ Along US Route 62/82 Yard Sales on June 10. Follow the trinket trucks along US Hwy 62/82 to Hodge Podge Markets, 62 miles from east of Lubbock to Dickens.
Yard sales take place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., east of Lubbock through the communities and rural stretches of Highway 62/82 to Dickens, Texas. Watch for vintage markets, yard sales, farmers markets and stuff along the route and stop in communities to shop for bargains at the markets, yard sales and BBQ places, burger joints, food vendors, parks, historic sights, museums and friendly folks to visit. Maps will be available at conveniencestoresandcafes in Idalou, Lorenzo, Ralls, Crosbyton and Dickens.
