Five communities east of Lubbock on Highway 62/82 have joined together for Truckin’ Along US Route 62/82 Yard Sales on June 10. Follow the trinket trucks along US Hwy 62/82 to Hodge Podge Markets, 62 miles from east of Lubbock to Dickens.
Yard sales take place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., east of Lubbock through the communities and rural stretches of Highway 62/82 to Dickens, Texas. Watch for vintage markets, yard sales, farmers markets and stuff along the route and stop in communities to shop for bargains at the markets, yard sales and shops that you might never get to visit without this special event.
Look for local restaurants, BBQ places, burger joints, food vendors, parks, historic sights, museums and friendly folks to visit. Maps will be available at convenience stores and cafes
Crosbyton and Dickens.
Host your own yard sale for fun, profit and clearing out your unwanted items. The cost for those wishing to be listed on the maps is $10 for individuals and $25 for businesses.
