The 11th Annual First Baptist Church of Spur Adult CoEd softball tournament will be held June 9-10 in Swenson Park and already five teams have signed up, but organizers can accommodate three more.
According to organizer Rory Mosley, pastor of First Baptist Church, “It’s just a good time for the community to come out and watch some softball.”
For those interested in fielding a team for 2023, there are some new rules from 2022, designed to preserve a fair and fun experience for all participants, including:
• Each team shall field 6 men and 4 women.(5 & 4 will be allowed, but you cannot field with fewer than 4 women).
• There are no stipulations as to what positions your team members can play.
• Rosters are kept “open” throughout the weekend.
