Downtown Saturday in Spur will be a day full of holiday cheer and shopping. The Third Saturday Trade Days, sponsored by the Spur Area Chamber of Commerce, will be downtown in the Community Center from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
This is a great opportunity to support local makers as you finalize your Christmas shopping.
As of Monday, a number of vendors had already committed to the Trade Days. Keep checking the Chamber’s Facebook page, as more vendors will sign up throughout the week.
Among the vendors participating are:
• The Spur Senior Citizens will be having a bake sale.
• Jon Shipp will be selling local honeys.
• Janet’s Homemade Breads will be taking orders for the holidays.
• Mary Bass will be selling jellies, jams, cookies and soup mixes.
• Nancy Vasquez will be selling breakfast burritos and lunches.
• Stephanie Segura will be selling homemade Christmas candies, such as fudge.
• Elisa Guillen with Color Sheets will be selling nail polish sheets.
And there are always other local craftsmen and artisans.
