The seventh annual Country Christmas Ball will be held on December 4, 2021 at the Floyd County Friend Unity Center, 990 FM 786 in Lockney, Texas.
The 14-piece band of Wendell Sollis and the Sidekicks All Stars will host the event to raise funds for the volunteer firefighters of Floyd County—but fans from all over are welcome to attend. Classic country, Western swing, big band, Cajun, and Christmas music will be played that night, following a catered meal. There will also be a live auction, silent auction, and vendor booths available for the guests.
Because there was a sellout crowd at the last event, it’s recommended that tickets be purchased early. Participants may call Dustee Sollis at (806) 983-6228 for more information or may buy tickets at D and J Gin in Lockney, or Payne Pharmacy in Floydada. Tickets are $50 each for general admission and $400 for a table of eight, with a $10 BYOB cooler fee.
The previous event raised $11,500 each for the Floydada and Lockney volunteer fire departments.
