LETTER TO THE EDITOR
I was raised in Dickens County and have been a subscriber to the Texas Spur for many years. I have read that since 2005 the U.S. has lost 2,900 newspapers, and over 200 counties have no news outlets.
I just want you to know that while I may have left Dickens County many, many years ago, it never left me I look forward to getting the Texas Spur every week and I thank the staff for providing so many stories and photos that let me know what is going on in the Motherland!
