School has already started for area teachers and administrators. Much of this week at area schools will be devoted to staff training. However, JGISD classes get under way Thursday, Aug. 12.
Patton Springs’ first day of school will be Monday, Aug. 16 and Spur’s first day of school will be Wednesday, Aug. 18.

August 16 Open House/Title One Meeting 6–8 p.m. Parents will enter the campus of their student and there will not be a large meeting in an attempt to limit everyone being in one area.
