at Beckton’s Chophouse and Tavern in Dickens this Saturday, with an Easter weekend extravaganza of family fun.
The restaurant, which reopened earlier this year in the former Espuela Steak House location at 1045 US 82 West, has planned activities and an Easter egg hunt from 2 to 5 p.m.
Afternoon games and fun on the lawn outside the restaurant will include an Easter egg dyeing station, a cookie decorating station, face painting, photo ops with baby chicks.
Egg hunts will take place for ages 6 and under at 3 p.m., and 7 and over at 4 p.m. There will be three golden eggs hidden for each hunt for three grand prize winners, organizers said in their Facebook post. There is no cost for the event.
Beckton’s will also have $1 hotdogs, $3 burgers and drinksavailableforpurchase throughout the event.
For the grownups, a raffle will be held for a four-course dinner for two at Beckton’s valued at up to $125 (appetizer, salad bar, entree of choice, dessert and a bottle of wine). Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5
