The score does not reflect what type of game was played. The entire game was a defensive game for both teams. As the first half ended, the score was 8-16 with the Bulldogs trailing.

The second half of the game was no different from the first. Both teams battled on the field. The Bulldogs came up short as the Hounds scored late in the third and fourth quarters. Knox City would take the district title, and the Bulldogs would be runners-up.
