ENGAGEMENTS
Jacy Cabler, of Lubbock (formerly of Spur), and Jayton Baca, of Vega, Texas, have announced their engagement. The future bride is the daughter of Jeremy and Jody Cabler, of Spur, and the granddaughter of Earl and Debbie Cabler, of Memphis, Texas, Darl and Ann Walker, of Spur, and Sally Barber, of Crosbyton. The future groom is the son of Brant and Michelle Baca, of Vega, and the grandson of Ray and Nadine Berend, of Hereford, Texas, and Jan and the late Mike Baca, of Vega. The couple plan a Feb. 8, 2020 wedding, after which they will make their home in Vega.
