NOINJURIES On Friday, March 10, in Dickens, Texas: Approximately 12:30 p.m., a 1994 Honda Accord driven by an 85-year-old woman from Dickens County left the roadway on U.S. 82 and struck the corner of a room at the Double H Motel. The driver was unharmed, according to Texas DPS. Dickens Sheriff's Office and EMS responded and got the driver out safely.
The motel’s proprietors, who have owned the property and lived onsite for 30 years, said it would take several days for an assessment by their insurance company, but they were thankful no one was injured.The damaged room of the motel was unoccupied at the time of the crash. | TEXAS SPUR
