A Calcutta will be held following the Saturday afternoon round. A meal will be provided. I promise you that a good time will be had by all who participate. The next Board meeting will take place on Wed., Sept.14. Any and all members are invited to attend!

Scramble results Aug. 9. What an incredible night it was for last week’s Golf Scramble Tuesday! The temperature was awesome. Having overcast skies and rain clouds all around us as we played was awesome. We even got a heavy sprinkle on the course for a few brief minutes and no one seemed to care! We are thankful for every single drop. Enough players showed up so that six teams were formed and three places were paid out. Wheels a-blazing back to the clubhouse after the regular round with 7 under par and a score of 29 were the teams of Tyler Luke, Aubrey Luke, Landon White, Tate Clark and Cammie Walker and the team of Russell Conrad, Dana Conrad, Justin Posey and Felix Servin. It was determined a playoff was to be had, and the team of Conrad, Conrad, Posey and Servin came out on top for the 1st place money with their birdie shot. The team of Luke, Luke, White, Clark & Walker took home the 2nd place money for the week. The team of Jimmy Ashley, Daniel Perez, Reid and Betsy Arnold and Bobby Condron claimed the 3rd place winnings. Kudos and a huge shoutout go to Tyler Luke, who landed his drive on the No. 1 Hole 17’5” from the cup to collect that money pot. He also landed his drive on the No. 8 Hole 6’10” from the hole. Congratulations, Tyler! Until next time – God bless and keep praying for rain!
