Scrambles to resume April 4
The regular monthly board meeting of the Spur Golf Association was held February 8, 2023. Discussion took place on tournaments to be held this season. A schedule with formats will be released in the near future. Be on the lookout for it so you can mark your calendars!
Lots of work is constantly being done on the golf course to maintain it and keep it in the best shape possible. As always, we are thankful for the little bit of moisture we received recently.
Maintenance is taking place on all grounds equipment so that everything is working properly ready to go. We appreciate all those who work to make this happen for us.
The weekly scrambles will start back up on Tuesday, April 4. Get ready to come out and enjoy the fun and social time.
Congratulations go to our Super Bowl Square fundraiser winners: 1st Quarter, Robert DeLaCruz/Rocky; 2nd Quarter, Betsy Arnold; 3rd Quarter, Neil Grant; 4th Quarter, Vanessa McGalliard.
Thank you to everyone who supported this fundraiser. We truly appreciate you. Proceeds from the fundraiser, after the payouts, go to the Association to help maintain and upgrade our grounds keeping equipment.
The next board meeting will take place Wednesday March 8 at 5:30 p.m. in the clubhouse in Spur’s Swenson Park. Members are welcome and invited to attend Until next time, continue to count your blessings and pray for rain for our ranchlands, farms and our course.
