The Spur Rural Healthcare Clinic has informed the community as of Sept. 15 that they now have the Moderna (2-shot) vaccine available by appointment for those 18 and older.
The Moderna vaccine comes in two phases—one shot, followed by another four weeks later.
Cathy Eggart from the clinic added that as of now, booster shots are advised only for those who are immunocompromised (such as patients undergoing cancer treatment).
