Alana Croft will be competing in the State Congressional Debate Meet in La Vernia, Texas, on February 14 and 15.
Croft placed third at the regional competition that was held in November.
Since then, she has been preparing for the state meet, researching new legislation and preparing speaking points for 20 new bills and resolutions. This year’s contest is still planned to be face-to-face; however, many restrictions will be in place. COURTESY PHOTO
