At Floydada’s October 10 Punkin Day festival, CrossView Christian Camp raised $1,250.05 in funds from its annual cakewalk, to support its projects.
“Punkin Day 2020 was sweet,” said development director Kassi Appleton. “And it was great to be around the people of our community! “
Appleton thanked the many cakewalk donors and volunteers. “A big highlight of the day was when a generous person passing by counted up the cakewalk squares that weren't in use and paid $49 so that we could announce a free round,” she said. “All SIXTY squares were filled for that round....really cool!”
Cakewalk volunteers were Kelsey Beaty, Alex Copeland, Abby Freeman, Brooklyn Freeman, Jaden Freeman, Jeremy Freeman, Victoria Freeman, Aidan Mueller, Kaylee Post, Ashlynn Powers, Colby Prieto , Barbara Wallace and Mary Wallace.
