ORCHARD PLANTED In the summer of 2019, according to CrossView Christian Camp’s Facebook page, campers planted pecan trees as part of the “Rooted” curriculum in memory of a beloved partner minister, Leonard Barnes, who impacted the lives of so many children and youth for the Kingdom.While those pecan trees did not make it through the winter that year, recently CrossView has trenched for the water lines and is replanting the pecan orchard. “The Leonard Barnes Pecan Orchard will take root, grow, & forever remind CrossView Campers that if they accept Jesus Christ as their Lord & Savior, their roots will grow down into God's love and keep them strong (Ephesians 3:17)” the post reads. | COURTESY PHOTO
