CrossView Christian Camp, based in Dickens, Texas, held its annual Festival of Tables event March 20 at the Turkey Church of Christ. The fund-raiser benefits CrossView’s Summer Camp Program, which primarily targets at-risk, troubled, and traumatized children from low-income households, according to camp director Kassi Appleton. Activities included entertainment, a silent auction, a catered lunch and door prizes.
Organizers of the “Puttin’ on the Ritz”–themed event filled 13 tables for eight. More than a dozen youth from Faith Fellowship Matador and the Turkey community served guests at the luncheon, which was prepared by cooks from the Turkey Church of Christ.
Friends of CrossView Christian Camp from far and wide came to enjoy a luncheon, fellowship, and fundraising.
Musical entertainment at the Festival of Tables featured local guitarist and singer Jackie Ferrell.
