Dickens County 4-H did well at last week’s District Roundup competition.
4-H members competing included Porter Abbott, Jaxon Bateman, Calvin Chapman, Jaydee Foster, Lynndee Foster, Maddee Foster, Rylee Foster, Mackenzie Gardner, Grayson James, Erin McGalliard, Wade McGalliard, Kylee Molina, Josh Ortiz, Khloee Segura, Kimberlee Segura and Paisley Smith.
The youngsters competed in a handful of events, including Educational Presentations, Share the Fun, and Consumer Decision Making, making for a great outing representing Dickens County.
Educational Presentations
1st place Senior team in Promote 4-H: Lynndee Foster and Mackenzie Gardner
2nd Place Senior in Health and Wellness: Jaydee Foster
1st place Junior in Horse: Paisley Smith
2nd place Junior team in Beef: Calvin Chapman and Grayson James
2nd place Junior team in Safety and Injury Prevention: Rylee Foster and Maddee Foster
A shout-out goes to seniors Jaydee Foster, Lyndee Foster, and Mackenzie Gardner, who have qualified to attend the State 4-H Roundup.
Consumer Decision Making
