Dickens 4-H fares well in record book district competition

Dickens County 4-H brought home some winning record books last week.

Congratulations go out to Bucki Smith, Paisley Smith, Slydder Bateman, Gunnir Bateman, Maddee Foster, Lyndee Foster, Jaydee Foster, Mackenzie Gardner, Melania Ramirez, Diezel Ramirez, Jet Ramirez and Calvin Chapman for representing the county at the District contest.

Maddee Foster took 1st place in Horse; Bucki Smith took 1st in Sheep and was a state qualifier; and Paisley Smith took 1st in Sheep

Melania Ramirez won 4th place in Fashion and Interior Design; Diezel Ramirez won 3rd in Food and Nutrition; and Jet Ramirez won 3rd in Rabbits.

Calvin Chapman was awarded 1st place in Veterinary; Jaydee Foster 2nd in Health and Professional Safety; and Mackenzie Gardner 3rd in Veterinary.

Lynndee Foster won 1st in Goat and was a state qualifier; Gunnir Bateman won 1st in Horse and was a state qualifier; and Slydder Bateman took 1st in Horse.
