At the 4-H District Horse Judging contest April 27, Dickens County teams placed third, with seniors qualifying for state roundup for a second time. “Our kids did an awesome job at district horse judging,” said extension agent Rusty Lanier.
Junior Team, 3rd place: Maddee Foster, Rylee Foster, Paisley Smith
Intermediate Team, 3rd place: Porter Abbott, Slydder Bateman, Rylynn Beshirs, Wade McGalliard
Senior Team, 3rd place and state qualifier: Mackenzie Gardner, Jaydee Foster (5th place individual in reasons); Lynndee Foster
