A great big thank you goes to all who participated to make this year’s tournament a success!

Golf scramble results July 26. It was a blazing scorcher for last week’s scramble but, we were able to form five teams and pay out two places.

Three teams rolled up into the clubhouse after the regular round tied with 3 under par and a score of 33. The team of Cody Preston, Landon White, Don Kaneski and Justin Posey, the team of Mike Day, Janie Day, James and Kathy Hughes and the team of Jimmy Ashley, Eddie Clark and Lesli Clark unanimously decided to have a playoff to determine the winners.

Beginning the playoff on Hole No. 1, the team of Preston, White, Kaneski and Posey and the team of Ashley, Clark and Clark prevailed, each getting a birdie to get to continue on with the playoff.

It was decided a “chip off” would be played to determine the spots for 1st and 2nd place. The team of Preston, White, Kaneski and Posey got to take home the 1st place winnings for the week with Landon White landing his chip closest to the pin. The team of Ashley, Clark and Clark took 2nd place.

Congratulations go to Landon White with his drive landing 5’7” from the hole on No. 8.

Again, no one planted a drive on the No. 1 hole, so the pot rolls over and keeps on growing!

Until next week—God bless, keep counting your blessings and keep praying for rain!
