Lake Alan Henry
Water clear main lake and 77 degrees; stained up the river and 79 degrees; 0.82' low. Black bass are slow on crankbaits and topwater. Crappie are fair at night on minnows. Catfishing are slow on live perch and cut bait.
Lake Colorado City
Water stained; 78–84 degrees; 11.03' low. Black bass are fair to good Texas rigged 7" blue fleck Power Worms, jigs and medium running crankbaits. Catfish are good on nightcrawlers and cut bait.
Lake Sweetwater
Water stained; 75–82 degrees; 0.14' high. This lake is currently experiencing a fish kill due to golden alga. Biologists are monitoring the situation and will post updates as they become available.
White River Lake
Water stained; 77–82 degrees; 19.18' low. Black bass are fair to good on topwaters, Texas rigs and jigs. Crappie are fair to good on split shot rigged live minnows and jigs. Catfish are good on nightcrawlers and prepared bait.
To prevent the spread of zebra mussels, the law requires draining of water from boats and onboard receptacles when leaving or approaching public fresh waters.
