Lake Alan Henry
Water clear main lake and 84 degrees; stained up the river and 86 degrees; 2.17' low. Black bass are good on small TRDs and 10" Power Worms. Crappie are fair at night on minnows. Catfish are fair on minnows and juglines with cut bait.
Lake Colorado City
Water stained; 78–84 degrees; 11.82' low. Black bass are slow. Catfish are fair on night-crawlers and cut bait.
Lake Sweetwater
Water stained; 75–84 degrees; 0.08' low. This lake is currently experiencing a fish kill due to golden alga. Biologists are monitoring the situation and will post updates as they become available. Fish populations have been substantially reduced by the golden alga blooms.
White River Lake
Water stained; 77–86 degrees; 20.25' low. Black bass are fair on Texas rigs and spinnerbaits. Crappie are fair on split shot rigged live minnows. Catfish are fair to good on prepared bait.
To prevent the spread of zebra mussels, the law requires draining of water from boats and onboard receptacles when leaving or approaching public fresh waters.
