If you plan to go fishing, stay close to home and check the status of the location you're planning to fish. Some fishing access points are closed.

Lake Alan Henry

GOOD. Water clear 60 degrees; 0.93' low. Black bass are good closest to spawn beds with partners sticking close to shore feeding regularly. Crappie are good on minnows fishing most structure. Catfish are fair on live bait and stinkbait.

Lake Stamford

FAIR. Water stained; 60-61 degrees;

0.84’ high. Largemouth bass are fair in the backs of coves and creeks. We’ve had to fish a lot to establish our seasonal spots this year. Crappie are good on minnows fishing stumps and drops. White bass are fair on live shad and slabs. Catfish are fair on live bait and stinkbait.

White River Lake

SLOW. Water stained; 59-60 degrees; 21.23’ low. Drought conditions continue to be in place. Please check boat ramp access. The largemouth bass spawn is successful on jigs, worms, and spinners near holes. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows shallower than before. Walleye are fair with increased activity. Catfish are fair on live bait, cut bait, and stinkbait.
