Lake Alan Henry
GOOD. Water clear 84 degrees; 1.67’ low. Black bass are good fishing steep rock shorelines and timber coming shallower to around 16-23 feet of water on Jigs, spinners, and spoons. Crappie are good on jigs in timber and cover. Catfish are fair on live bait, cut bait, and stinkbait.
Lake Stamford
GOOD. Water stained; 85 degrees; 0.40’ low. Black bass are good moving from structure to structure with no consistency to spots. Fish Finders are crucial, and so are bright worms, and jigs. Crappie are fair on jigs with many limits coming in vegetation and timber. White bass are good with live shad. Catfish are fair on live bait and stinkbait.
White River Lake
SLOW. Water stained; 87 degrees; 23.37’ low. Drought conditions continue to be in place. Largemouth bass have found some new structures like drops and previously too deep brush. Stay near dam points and continue fishing Carolina rigged worms, jigs, and spinners for any success. Crappie are slow with random success in calm water with the only species moving north or in the marina. Walleye are fair deep with some decent movement across the lake. Channel catfish are good on live bait, cut bait, and stinkbait.
