Floydada’s Boston Terrier Museum featured on ‘Texas Bucket List’

“Everyone’s got a soft spot for a man’s best friend, and while this museum focuses a bit more on the Boston Terrier, the owner sure does have a lot of love for all pooches,” wrote host Shane McAuliffe of the Emmy Award–winning TV series “Texas Bucket List” following a recent visit to film at one of Floydada’s (and maybe the nation’s) quirkiest destinations, the Boston Terrier Museum in Floydada, Texas.

This collection of Boston Terriers has been Bob Hambright’s passion for quite some time. While his collection is large, he continues to snatch up anything Boston Terrier,” said Hambright. “I love Boston Terriers and I love collecting Boston Terriers. And I got this wild idea. I said, ‘I'll just put in a museum, and collect Boston Terriers.”

If it has Boston Terrier on it, then Hambright probably has it in his collection, from RCA Victor collectibles to tobacco tins to items of clothing.

In a segment that originally aired this past weekend (March 12–13, 2022) the Boston Terrier Museum was featured alongside two other stops, the Czech American Restaurant in West and The Texas State Aquarium in Corpus Christi.
