LETTER TO THE EDITOR, THE TEXAS SPUR
This is the time of year we often remember civil servants that ensure our comfort and safety. Our first thoughts are usually first responders, law enforcement, fire departments and teachers. But one group is often overlooked—county road hands and city maintenance workers.
They are there to maintain roads, fight range fires, repair city streets and battle city water line breaks. Often they work at night in cold, wet weather, hours after their regular work hours.
Thanks to each of you and know we appreciate your dedication to your profession.
