Tanner Lane, along with his Tanner Lane band, will present the show at the 2022 Spur Homecoming dance. Lane is a native of Plainview, Texas, and is married to Colette (Goodall) Lane, Spur class of 2012.
The dance is scheduled for Saturday night, Oct. 8, with music starting at 9 p.m. in the Dickens County show barn in Swenson Park and continuing until midnight. (For those who clipped out the Homecoming Weekend schedule published in last week’s Texas Spur, the Ex-Students have clarified that they are NOT holding a dance on Friday night, as they had previously included in their schedule.)
Lane plays a mixture of Texas country, Americana, and the classics of country music. His passion for music began at a young age, and he recently released his first single, “Turn Out the Lights,” that can be found on all music streaming platforms.
Tanner and Colette have three children and reside in Canyon, Texas.
