As of press time Tuesday: if Jayton and Paducah have both won Tuesday night, Feb. 18, according to Jaybirds coach Ryan Bleiker, they will be district co-champions. Jayton will be number one seed, and Paducah will be number two seed in the playoffs. Spur is already number three seed.
If either team has lost, the other will claim the district title.
Jayton (8-1) played Motley County (3-5) at home at 6:30 p.m.
Paducah (8-1) played Patton Springs (1-8) at home at 6:30 p.m.
Jayton has a preview game versus Stratford Friday, Jan. 21, at 5 p.m. in Canyon to get ready for the playoffs, and will appear in its first playoff game between January 25 and 28.
