SPECIAL TO THE TEXAS SPUR
On September 30, Girl Scout Troop 7115 held a special ceremony to welcome new members, celebrate girls bridging to higher levels and honor those rededicating themselves to another year of scouting.
Troop 7115 already kicked off their new year by having camping trips to Abilene State Park and Coyote Ranch in Wichita Falls where girls learned new outdoor skills. The troop has also held their first meetings, focusing on Girl Scout traditions and healthy living.
In all that this new year will bring, the girls’ activities and experiences will focus on building confidence, character, leadership, new skills and above all, service. Every girl takes to heart her Girl Scout Promise — to serve God and country, to help people at all times and to live by the Girl Scout Law.
