LIBRARY NOTES

Library slates workshops in December

DONNICE CARRUTH | SPECIAL TO THE TEXAS SPUR

Our calendar is getting full here at the library. Coming up Thursday, December 1, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon we have representatives from North West Texas Legal Aide coming with a presentation on End of Life Documents.

Connie Lawrence and her staff have been here before with this presentation, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who has questions on wills, probates and trusts. She answered everyone’s questions after the presentation. Also on December 1 from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. Norely Gray, Healthcare Navigator with South Plains Community Action Association, will be here to help answer questions about getting affordable insurance through the Health Insurance Marketplace.

On Monday, December 6, Rick and C.J. Boales will help aspiring photographers with a photo workshop.

We are also still having our book sale in the lobby. There are still plenty of great titles available for you to take home and add to your own library.

One of the new titles we have available for you to check out this week in large print is “Clive Cussler’s Devil’s Sea” by Dirk Cussler. Clive Cussler’s legacy lives on through his son, Dirk. In this action adventure novel, Dirk Pitt must unravel a historical mystery of epic importance.

From #1 New York Times bestselling author Lisa Gardner, we have “One Step Too Far,” a chilling thriller about a young man gone missing in the wilderness of Wyoming . . . and the secrets uncovered by the desperate effort to find him.

Just in time for the holidays we have “The Twelve Jays of Christmas.” The cast of Donna Andrews’ New York Times bestselling Meg Langslow mystery series is back for an unforgettable holiday story.

Taking the holidays to the old west are William W. and J.A. Johnstone with “A MacCallister Christmas.

This holiday season, the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Noel Collection, Richard Paul Evans, returns with another heartwarming story of secrets, heartbreak, forgiveness, and the true meaning of Christmas.

Check it all out at the library.
