There are a few of us aspiring photographers around town that have decided to form a photography club here in Spur.
Our first meeting will be held on Saturday, Feb. 11 at the library. If you are interested, please come to this meeting where we will be coming up with a name for the club, set a date and time for meetings, and everything else you do when starting up a group like this. This will be a club for everyone no matter your age or experience. We will get together and share ideas about photography, cameras, techniques, editing, and anything related to the passion that all photographers share. We invite all citizens and those in surrounding counties to join us.
If you have any questions you can contact me at the library at (806) 2713714 or Rick Boales at rick. boales@gmail.com, his cell number, (214) 985-9006, or on Facebook messenger.
The library was surprised with a very generous donation of audiobooks this past week. They are all on CD. We are working on getting them into the system so they will be ready for check out.
Audiobooks are great for road trips when you have to travel alone. Even if you are not traveling alone if you and your traveling partner have the same taste in reading material audiobooks make the trip go by much faster.
