According to the folks at ChiltonLibrary, April is National Car Care Month. ChiltonLibrary provides a wide variety of users access to vehicle maintenance and repair information including step by step service and repair manuals, wiring diagrams, images, and a video library. ChiltonLibrary also supports automotive students with ASE test prep questions. This amazing online mechanics library is available only to members of TexShare online databases.
Dickens County-Spur Public Library and its cardholders are members of Texshare. The jigsaw puzzle program is gaining popularity as people become aware of it. This program is suitable for all ages and skill levels. We have many children’s puzzles available as well as adults’, ranging from the easier 300 pieces to the more challenging 1,500 pieces. Patrons do not need a library card to get a puzzle. Anyone can take and enjoy them. It’s a good way to pass the time on a rainy day. (Hopefully we have a few of those soon!) If you complete a puzzle you can return it. Don’t forget to sign off on the card you have completed it. If a puzzle has missing pieces please don’t return it.
