Spur public library helps make school supplies available
DONNICE CARRUTH | SPECIAL TO THE TEXAS SPUR
It’s that time of year again! The Friends of the Library is sponsoring the back to school supplies for Dickens Country students again for the 2023–24 school year. If you like to help out, we will be taking donations of school supplies or money to purchase school supplies at the library. Forms to receive school supplies are available to be picked up at the library. To make sure your child receives their supplies on time please make sure to have the filled out forms back to the library by Wednesday, Aug. 9, for Patton Springs ISD and on Monday, Aug. 14, for Spur ISD.
Donnice Carruth is director of the Dickens County-Spur Library, in Spur.
