LIONS DISTRICT GOVERNOR Ron Miller, attending the Kent County Lions Club on January 24 from Darrouzett, Texas, recognized Kent County member Don Long for 36 years of Lions Club service. Miller, who visited the Lions Club for the first time since his installation July 1, 2021, praised the Kent County Lions Club for its robust attendance and described the Lions mission as focusing on youth activities such as Lions Camp and Leo Clubs; an original emphasis on vision care; and disaster relief.
The Kent County Lions will host a community Bingo Night Thursday, Jan. 27, with a chili supper offered for $7 per plate. | THE TEXAS SPUR
