Want to see more events and movies at the Palace Theater in 2024?
Your gift to Spur’s project — of any size — will be matched between now and Tuesday, Nov. 28, as part of the Community Foundation of West Texas’s Giving Tuesday campaign.
The Palace Theater is once again participating in the annual nationwide #GivingTuesday initiative, to raise money for upgrades to its heating and air conditioning system.
Last year, the theater met its $5,000 Giving Tuesday goal to fund a new sound mixer board and speaker system. With an aim to bring more live stage events to the theater in 2024, the DCHC has also applied for a Community Foundation of West Texas grant to enhance its stage and green room areas.
While the results of that application won’t be known for some weeks, friends of the theater have the opportunity for any gift made by check or cash between now and November 28, 2022, to earn a percentage match from funds generated all across West Texas.
