Petersburg, Valley and Crowell will be the three football teams that the Spur junior varsity and varsity squads will face in the first scrimmages of the year on Friday, Aug. 16.
The junior varsity Bulldogs will play from 6 to 7 p.m. The varsity Bulldogs will play from 7 to 9 p.m.

SPUR MIDNIGHT MADNESS Football fans had the opportunity to preview the 2019 Spur Bulldogs at 12:01 a.m. on August 10 for Midnight Madness at Jones Stadium. Head coach Tate Clark and the coaching staff had the team run through practice drills to kick off the season.
