Spur-area construction contractor Mortenson delivered several dozen new coats of various sizes (lots of coats for small children) to the Spur Food Pantry for distribution to those needing winter warmth. More coats are to be delivered next week Mortenson staff have previously supported the Spur Food Pantry with generous donations of supplies and deliveries.
The Spur Food Pantry organizers said the coats were available Christmas week, and being a regular Food Pantry customer was not a qualification to receive a coat. For more information, call the Food Pantry at (806) 294-5005.
Minneapolis-based Mortenson has crews in the area working on the Texas Solar Nova project in northern Kent County.
