Happy New Year from all of us at the Dickens County Spur Public Library.
This past month has been filled with many joyous holiday memories. We had two craft nights with some amazing crafters and hope to keep crafting into the New Year. We were honored to be included with the City of Spur in Spur’s firstever lighted Christmas Parade, in which we won third place with the Whoville float from Dr. Seuss’s “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” Everyone did a great job on their floats.
We hope to have a game night soon. Charlotte Sprayberry and I have been working on doing this for a while. It is shaping into what is going to be a lot of fun. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for when the event will happen, because you won’t want to miss out on the fun.
