BeeHive Homes residents establish Garden Club

FLOYDADA—Residents of BeeHive Homes at Shepherd’s Meadow in Floydada have established a Garden Club, “Sow Beautiful,” and did their inaugural planting last week.

The “members” have been preparing and planning their garden club for the last month.

They started off by deciding the name for their club, and all participants were given hot pink t-shirts with their garden club logo, sun visors, watering cans and gloves, and BeeHive Homes built them a raised bed to make gardening easier.

They kicked off their gardening club by planting cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers and squash.
