In the regular monthly
meeting of the Patton Springs Independent School District board of trustees on October 3, 2022, superintendent Bryan White reported on enrollment and attendance, awards and honors, school activities, maintenance, school safety, transportation and housing.
The board also discussed were ESSR II, ESSR III, and the 2022 Accountability Rating.
Patton Springs ISD received an overall “A” rating including Student Achievement, School Progress and Closing The Gaps.
Patton Springs ISD received five Distinction Designations: Academic Achievement in English/Language Arts/Reading; Academic Achievement in Social Studies. Comparative Academic Growth, Postsecondary Readiness and Comparative Closing the Gaps. Superintendent White reported on the Resource Office and the Chapter 313 agreement.
In other board action trustees approved the superintendent to file any waivers necessary for the school year 2022–23.
The board also approved the District Improvement Plan and the SHAC-Summer Mandate Letter.
Board members in attendance were Gary Bridge, Clayt Bridge, David Keith and Ernest Ramirez. Superintendent White, Principal Sandra Ramirez and business manager Becky Hodges were also in attendance.
